General Submission Guidelines

We are currently accepting contributions exclusively for publication on TheGlobalRoamer website.

1. Original Content

All submissions must be original, unpublished articles. We do not accept plagiarised, duplicate or previously published content, including articles currently under consideration by another publication.

2. Article Quality

Articles must be informative, engaging, well-researched and professionally written. Please ensure your submission is free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and factual inaccuracies.

We prefer a conversational yet informative writing style that offers genuine value to readers.

3. Article Length

Articles should generally be between 800 and 1,500 words. Longer articles may be considered depending on the subject and editorial requirements.

4. Images and Media

Contributors are encouraged to submit high-quality, relevant photographs to complement their articles.

Please ensure that you own the submitted images or have appropriate permission or licensing to use them. You may also suggest suitable royalty-free images from platforms such as Unsplash and Pixabay.

Image credits and attribution must be provided wherever required. Copyright infringement is strictly prohibited.

5. Document Format

Please submit your completed article in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)(Max 2MB).

6. Headings and SEO

Use descriptive headings and subheadings to organise your article and improve readability.

We appreciate content that follows basic SEO best practices, including relevant keywords, descriptive titles and informative meta descriptions.

7. Links and References

Include relevant references and sources wherever necessary. External links should be genuinely useful to readers and relevant to the article. Promotional or excessive links are not encouraged.

Editorial Process

Review & Selection

Every submission is reviewed for relevance, originality, quality and suitability for our audience.

As we operate with a small editorial team, we may not be able to respond to every submission. If your pitch is a good fit, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

If you do not receive a response within seven days, please feel free to submit your work to another publication. We appreciate your time and understanding.

Editing

Accepted articles may be edited for grammar, clarity, readability, accuracy and editorial consistency. Significant changes will be discussed with the contributor before publication. Our editorial team reserves the right to make minor editorial adjustments.

Publication

Once your article receives final editorial approval, we will inform you about the expected publication date.

Compensation

At present, TheGlobalRoamer does not offer monetary compensation for guest contributions.

We welcome passionate writers and industry professionals who wish to share their knowledge, experiences and stories with a wider international audience.

Legal & Copyright Guidelines

Copyright Ownership

Contributors retain the copyright and ownership of their original work. By submitting an article and accepting publication, you grant TheGlobalRoamer a non-exclusive right to publish, display and distribute the accepted content in digital formats.

Originality & Plagiarism

Plagiarism, copied content, misleading information and copyright violations are strictly prohibited.

Any submission found to contain plagiarised or unauthorised material will be rejected. Repeated violations may result in permanent exclusion from future contributions.

Editorial Rights

TheGlobalRoamer reserves the right to edit, reject, remove or decline publication of any submitted content that does not meet our editorial standards.

Please include:

Proposed Article Title: A clear and descriptive headline.
Article Pitch: A brief introduction of approximately 100–150 words explaining your proposed topic, its unique angle and what readers will gain from it.
Writing Samples: Links to previously published articles or relevant writing samples, if available.
Author Information: A short introduction about yourself and your travel, tourism or professional background.
